Samiran Salamat Co., known commercially as “LOFAN,” is a leading Iranian fruit and vegetable growing, grading, and exporting company. Located in Shiraz, it operates on hundreds of hectares in Iran’s most renowned apple-producing areas, including Maraghe, Uromiyeh, Samirom and Isfahan. Their production focuses on premium varieties, including Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Gala, Pink Lady, Granny Smith, and Fuji, while also exporting kiwi, citrus, and various vegetables to international markets.
The challenge
Samiran Salamat Co. was looking for a solution for:
- Expand its presence in international markets through precise apple grading.
- Increase production capacity with a modern, highly automated line.

The solution
With the cooperation of FUTURA S.r.l., Samiran Salamat Co. installed a 10-ton/hour apple processing line, delivered and started up in September 2021.
